My dear Sister Elizabeth was born in the year 1744. My dear Sister Nancy was born in ye year 1746. My Bror Thomas died at ye age of nine weeks. My dr little sister Nancy died of ye measles 1749.
I was married to my Husband Rob' Cottle at Trowbridge Wilts Sep : 9 1761.
My Sister Elizabeth was married to Mr Bold of Brecon (at Trowbridge) April 30 1764.
My Sister Mary was married to Mr Jon Penkivil at plymth dock 1766.
Dr Penkivil their Son died July 16 1861 at Yeovil Somers1.
Mrs Slade is his Daughter.

Sarah Saunders died June 17 1837, aged 22 (wife of the M.C.
Revd David Thomas, Minister of Zion Chapel Bristol). Our Beloved Sister, Mary Cottle, died March 31st 1839, aged 67. J. C. Our beloved Brother Joseph Cottle died June 7th 1853, aged 84. Our beloved Sister Anne Hare died June 26 1855 aged 76 R. C. Her Husband John Hare died Jany 11 1839.
Robert Cottle late of Kirkstall Lodge Clapham Park where he died May 6 1858 Aged 82 in his 83d year born June 2 1775 — the first part was written with his own precious hand, the second by his " devoted Widow " Elizth Cottle.

former married a Mr Tucker of Plymouth dock have had many

Children.
Dr Penkivil died at Yeovil Somerset July 16 1861. My dear daugh1" Sarah was in ye year 1804 married to Mr Jon Saunders of Plymouth they also have at present 2 daughrs Sarah & Mary Ann. Deaths.

Rob* Cottle Feby: 8 18 14 in Lambeth Church. Rob1 Cottle fourth Son was born 1775 2 June 5 oClock in afternoon in
the Barton, Bristol. Rob1 Cottle, died at Kirkstall Lodge, Clapham Park, Surry, Thursday
May 6 1858 at 5 oC in the afternoon. Anne Cottle their fourth Daughter was born 1777 June 21 Wednesday
Morning.
Anne Cottle their fifth Daughter was born 17 May 1780 \ before 7 in ye Morning.
Martha Grace Cottle their Sixth Daughter was born 2 August 1784
Monday Morning {- past Seven. Our first dear Son Rob1 died of a decline after the Small pox January 14
1772 Aged 3 Years and 9 Months. Our dear first Ann Cottle died of a putrid fever August 26 1779 Aged
2 Years and 2 Months. Our Ever dear Daughter Eliza died of a decline Decembr 9 1789 about
Seven in the Morning in ye 26th Year of her Age. Our dear daughter Martha died May 16th 1800. Our dear son Amos died in London Sepr 28 1800. My dear Husband Robert Cottle died Nov: 25th 1800. My dear Brother in Law Mr Bold died Feb: 10 1809. Hugh Bold Junr was born on Holy Thursday the 10th day of Jany: 1730.

Elizabeth Simon of that place. She departed this Life Octr 31st 178 1.
Hugh Bold her Husband was afterwards Married to Miss Phillips of

Hanscombe Family.
MEMORANDUM. The First John Hanscombe of Aspecden near Buntingford in Hertfordshire Great-Grandfather to me William Hanscombe Earnestly requested in his Life time that this Bible might be given to his Eldest Son and Heir and by him to his Eldest Son With an Injunction that it Should be Handed Down from Son to Son in a Right Line according to the said Request of my Great-Grandfather it Came to John Hanscombe of Hertford my Grandfather and from him to Seth Hanscombe of Hodsdon my Father and from him to me William Hanscombe his Eldest Son and Heir and in Default of Male Issue from me William Hanscombe I desire this Bible may go to the Eldest Son of my Brother Robert Late of Turners Hill near Cheshunt in Hertfordshire according to the request of the above John my Great- Grandfather and in Default of Surviving Male Issue of my Brother Robert then to Such Person as Shall be Intitled Thereto, which will be the Heir of the Second Son of The John Hanscombe of Aspecden my Great Grandfather.
MEMORANDUM. This Bible when it Came to me was bound with Oak Boards half Inch thick with Large brasses at the Corners which I had new Bound the first of January 1757.
John son of John and Susanah Hanscombe of Aspecden was born the 28th of November 1658, and was married the 9th April 1683 to Frances Halley who Died the 16th of September 1694 (in Child bed of Twins) by whom he had Issue.

the youngest daughter of john, duke of argyll lady mary campbell by whom he had no issue, margaret, countess dowager leicester preserving inviolable the most perfect impressions of conjugal and parental affections caused this monument to be erected

Fauntleroy Family.
To all and Singular to whom these Presents shall come Sir George Nayler Knight Garter Principal King of Arms and Ralph Bigland Esquire Clarenceux King of Arms of the South East and West Parts of England from the River Trent Southwards send Greeting. Whereas Robert Fauntleroy of Potters Fields in the Borough of Southwark and of Wandsworth in the County of Surrey Merchant third Son of Robert Fauntleroy and Grandson of Thomas Fauntleroy late of Culvers Grove in the County of Essex deceased hath represented unto Henry Thomas Howard Molyneux Howard Esquire commonly called the Right Honourable Lord Henry Thomas Howard Molyneux Howard Deputy (with the Royal Approbation) to his Brother the Most Noble Bernard Edward Duke of Norfolk Earl Marshal and Hereditary Marshal of England that upon an examination of the Records of the College of Arms he is informed that the Armorial Ensigns hitherto borne by his Ancestors have not been duly registered to his branch of the Family and being unwilling to bear any without lawful Authority he therefore requested the favour of His Lordship's Warrant for Our granting and assigning the said Armorial Ensigns with such distinctions as may be proper to be borne by him and his Descendants and by the other Descendants of his aforesaid late Father according to the Laws of Arms. And forasmuch as his Lordship did by Warrant under his Hand and Seal bearing date the twenty second day of February last authorize and direct Us to grant and assign such Armorial Ensigns accordingly. Know Ye therefore that We the said Garter and Clarenceux in pursuance of His Lordship's Warrant and by virtue of the Letters Patent of Our several Offices to each of Us respectively granted do by these Presents grant and exemplify unto the said Robert Fauntleroy the Arms following that is to say Gules an Elephant statant between three Infants Heads couped proper crined Or. And for Crest on a Wreath of the Colours A Mount Vert thereon a Fleur-de-lis Erminois between two Wings displayed Quarterly Azure and Gules as the same are in the Margin hereof more plainly depicted to be borne and used for ever hereafter by him the said Robert Fauntleroy and his Descendants and by the other Descendants of his aforesaid late Father Robert Fauntleroy with due and proper differences according to the Laws of Arms. In Witness whereof We the said Garter and Clarenceux Kings of Arms have to these Presents subscribed our Names and affixed the Seals of Our several Offices this twelfth day of March in the Fourth Year of the Reign of our Sovereign Lord George the Fourth by the Grace of God in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland King Defender of the Faith &c and in the Year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty three.

SHE WAS THE ELDEST DAUGHTER OF SIR HENRY GOUGH BART OF EDGBASTON IN THIS COUNTY AND SISTER TO THE FIRST LORD CALTHORPE. THE ORGAN IN THIS CHURCH AND THE COMMUNION PLATE WERE GIVEN BY HER.
HE BUILT THE MANSION HOUSE AT THIS PLACE; AND FINISHED IT IN THE YEAR 1795.
